Aquatic Control Inc. is a privately owned lake and pond management company with a main office in Seymour, Indiana and satellite offices in Valparaiso, Indiana; Evansville, Indiana; St. Louis, Missouri; Elizabethtown, Kentucky; Jackson, Tennessee; Knoxville, Kentucky; Williamsville, Illinois; Elkhart, Iowa; and Davenport, Iowa. Our staff consists of fisheries biologists and technicians with a combined 500+ years of experience in aquatic vegetation management, fisheries management, product sales, and aquatic ecosystem management.

The Position:

  • EPA registered aquatic herbicide and algaecide application
  • Installation and maintenance of aerators, fountains, and compressed air systems
  • Aquatic plant surveys
  • Assisting with and writing vegetation management plans
  • Fish management surveys
  • Assisting with fish survey reports
  • Data entry and management
  • General maintenance of trucks, boats, equipment, and grounds

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Insurable Driving Record
  • Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening & DOT Physical
  • Comfortable Driving Truck & Boat Trailer Combination
  • Basic mechanical ability (experience in outboard motor operation is a plus)
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment (physical labor required)
  • Ability to work an average of 50-60 hours per week
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs

  • Installation and maintenance of aerators, fountains, and compressed air systems
  • Aquatic plant surveys
  • Writing vegetation management plans
  • Performing fish surveys
  • Attend industry related training events and conferences
  • Heavy field work from March through October
  • General maintenance of trucks, boats, equipment, and grounds
  • Speaking at pond clinics, trade shows, and public meetings

  • Bachelor’s degree in fisheries/aquatic science, agriculture, or a natural resources-related field

Aquatic Control Inc. is a privately owned lake and pond management company. Our home Office is in Seymour Indiana with satellite offices in Valparaiso IN, Evansville IN, Truesdale MO, Jackson TN, Williamsville IL, and Elizabethtown, KY, Ankeny, IA, Davenport, IA, and Knoxville, TN. We are actively growing and need to add 1 full-time aeration repair technician that will be based out of the Home Office in Seymour, IN.

The Position:

  • Perform primarily field work and shop repair of aeration equipment (we will train you)
  • Installation of new equipment
  • Winter removal, cleaning, routine maintenance, and reinstallation of fountains
  • Accurate record keeping
  • This position offers potential for advancement for the right employee

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience and stable track record working with one or more of the following – traveling field repair, outdoor labor/repair, boating/trailering, electrical work, or manufacturing
  • Minimum High school diploma or GED, insurable driving record, and pre-employment drug screening
  • Stable work history with advancement
  • Knowledgeable on the use of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and other basic programs
  • Must be dependable, work well alone or in team setting, willing to work in all weather, and willing to learn
