How we let customers know a technician is on the way — and how you choose whether to get those updates by text.
Aquatic Control offers an optional text messaging program that lets customers know when a technician is headed to their property and when a service has been completed. Signing up for service never requires enrolling in text alerts — the two are handled as separate steps, described below.
A licensed technician provides a written proposal or quote for lake and pond management service. This step covers only the service itself — it does not ask about or mention text messaging.
Once a customer has an account with Aquatic Control, they can log in to their private customer portal and turn on text alerts from their notification settings. The checkbox is off by default and is never required to receive service. Below is a preview of that step.
